Cutting across a parking lot

Is it really that much quicker to cut across a parking lot diagonally rather than following the “aisles”? When you almost cause me to have the urge to crash into you I don’t consider your “Southern Methodist University” window sticker as an apology. I do, however, sometimes use your Republican candidate bumper sticker as an excuse, especially when I’ve signed the recall petition for said politician.
